This was a brief appearance by Bruce Paine at the Mt Albert Historical Society Christmas party which was attended by various notable Mount Albert people including MP David Shearer.

It was an opportunity for Bruce to premiere one of his new works and allow everyone present to experience a world wide launch. The composition features an appealing Indian theme with a slight nod towards the Indian sitar. This was admired and appreciated by the society members.

The composition entitled "Seringapatam" is intended to form part of a DVD being made about Alberton and it is hoped the performance will create awareness and interest in the project
