The first half of the concert was for casual performers (members of the Auckland guitar society.) Following a brief interval Bruce Paine performed a selection of his latest compositions that, as he explained, will become part of a proposed DVD about the historic place Alberton.

Bruce was joined by David Nutt in a performance of "The Sea King's Daughter" with prose (a descriptive verse read out before each section of the music.)

Bruce rounded off the concert with an encore performance of his piece "Finchdean" which was inspired by English countryside and an ancient chapel.
